Nashville hands a bachelorette party the real thing: traditional country house bands on Lower Broadway, bluegrass in a stone room in the Gulch, the Ryman's wooden pews. The catch is the headcount: most rooms are built for four, and ten gets sold seats in blocks too small, handed to a private-events inbox, or scattered across the floor. Better to learn that in April than at the door on Saturday night. So every day here has an anchor and a backup that work for ten, and most meals happen where everyone orders their own thing: the vegetarian picks a stall, the friend who isn't drinking never has to explain. No pedal taverns, no party buses. Just the music, done properly.

## Day 1 — Friday: land, feed ten people, one honest honky-tonk

### Anchor: Robert's Western World

Open the weekend with the real sound of Broadway. Robert's Western World calls itself the only original honky-tonk on the strip, and its house bands play traditional country, not the classic-rock covers pouring out of the doors around it. There is never a cover charge, so the friend who isn't drinking stands in the same room without buying a thing. No reservations, and it goes 21-plus after 6pm: arrive before the evening crush, claim standing room near the stage, and give it an hour.

### Backup: Station Inn

When a warm Friday on Broadway means queueing from the pavement, the Station Inn is twelve minutes away: the Gulch's squat stone bluegrass home since 1974. Small stage, shared tables, no windows, and playing that headlines festivals elsewhere. Everyone faces the stage, so nobody's drink order matters. Seating is limited and the room fills; phone ahead on a busy night.

### Eat & rest

Dinner is Assembly Food Hall, upstairs at Fifth + Broadway and two minutes' walk from the Ryman: more than thirty independent stalls and bars under one roof. Ten people order ten different things, pay separately, and still share one table.

*Everything today sits within a few blocks and nothing needs a booking, because flights slip. Be eating by eight and in a music room by nine.*

## Day 2 — Saturday: the country-music day, properly

### Anchor: Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

*The Hall of Fame, then Historic RCA Studio B*

If the bride lives for country music, this is the morning that earns the trip. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, open daily, runs from handwritten lyrics and stage costumes to the Hall of Fame rotunda; give it two to three hours, with a café for whoever flags first. Then a museum shuttle carries you out to Historic RCA Studio B on Music Row, the working studio where so much of her playlist was recorded. Slots are limited, so book the museum-plus-Studio-B combination online, all ten in one order.

### Backup: Ryman Auditorium

*or the Ryman, by day or by night*

Built in 1892 and home to the Grand Ole Opry for more than thirty years, the Ryman is the best-sounding room in the city, and it still seats you on the original wooden pews. By day, take the self-guided or backstage tour; by night, buy seats for whatever is playing. On an Opry night, read the ticket: some dates play here, others at the Opry House, about five miles away.

### Eat & rest

Dinner for ten is Chauhan Ale & Masala House in the Gulch, where the vegetarian dishes are the menu rather than a footnote. Parties of seven or more book by phone, and there is a private dining room if you want a door to close.

*The museum, the Ryman and Assembly are a walkable cluster; the Gulch and the Listening Room are each a ten-minute ride. Tonight's music room is the hard booking. Everything else bends around it.*

## Day 3 — Sunday: daylight, a slow room, and getting ten people to the airport

### Anchor: Centennial Park

Sunday wants daylight and open lawn. In the middle of Centennial Park stands the Parthenon, a full-scale replica of the Athenian temple built for Tennessee's 1897 centennial, with a 42-foot gilded Athena inside and a small art museum below her. It is a strange, good thing to walk up to, and it lets a fraying group split without splitting up: some go in, some stretch out on the grass. The Parthenon is ticketed with its own hours, and a phased park renovation can fence off paths and parking.

### Backup: Nashville Farmers' Market

Rain moves brunch indoors to the Nashville Farmers' Market. The Market House is a covered hall of independent restaurants, shops and food counters, with produce and crafts in the Farm Sheds outside: Friday's food-hall trick, done as brunch. It sits right beside the Bicentennial Capitol Mall, so the walkers get a stroll while everyone else orders another coffee.

### Eat & rest

Sunday brunch is where good weekends for ten go wrong: the small chef-driven rooms mostly can't seat a party that size without notice. Go self-serve at the Market House or Assembly. For a greener finish, Cheekwood's gardens and sculpture trail are about twenty minutes out by car, ticketed, and closed one day a week.

*Ten people with luggage fill three rideshare cars. Order early, share the airport time rather than the departure time, and leave bags with whoever flies last.*

## What a party of ten actually has to book, and when

The rules that decide whether ten of you sit together or split up at the door:

- Ryman Auditorium: group bookings start at fifteen, so buy ten individual tickets in one order to sit together. Tours and shows are separate purchases.
- Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum: group rates also start at fifteen. Book museum admission and Studio B in the same transaction so your tour times match.
- The Listening Room Cafe: parties above nine go through the private-events team, and seating together is not guaranteed. There is a $15 food-or-drink minimum per person per show, and the ticket doubles as your dinner reservation. Contact them early.
- The Bluebird Cafe: six seats per order, maximum. Send the four who want it most, or skip it.
- Chauhan Ale & Masala House: phone well ahead; a Saturday table for ten needs real notice.
- Robert's, the Station Inn and the honky-tonks: no reservations, no group holds, so arrive early.
- Lock them in this order: the Saturday-night music room, the Studio B slot, Saturday dinner. Nothing else sells out from under you.

## One vegetarian, one who is not drinking

Both are solved by where you eat, not what you order, and every stop in this plan clears both bars:

- Assembly, the Market House and Chauhan: separate stalls or a menu built around vegetarian dishes, so nobody negotiates a menu or explains a drink.
- The Listening Room Cafe: the minimum is food or drink, not alcohol, and under-21 guests are welcome at the dining tables, though not at the bar.
- Killjoy in East Nashville: a booze-free bottle shop for non-alcoholic beer, spirits, wine and ready-made cocktails. Stock the rental on day one.
- Skip the pedal taverns, party buses and packaged crawls: priced per head, and drinking is the whole product.

## Where to stay, and why

For ten people the expensive problem is cars, so choose a base you can walk from:

- SoBro, south of Broadway around Rep. John Lewis Way, puts the Hall of Fame, the Ryman, Assembly, Lower Broadway and the Listening Room on foot: no rideshares for two of your three days.
- The Gulch is quieter and walkable to the Station Inn and Chauhan. Pick it if the group wants to sleep.
- One large rental beats five hotel rooms, for the kitchen table alone. Nashville regulates short-term rentals, so check the local rules and the listing’s occupancy limit.
- Skip the cheaper place fifteen minutes out: three cars, four times a day, for three days adds up. Ride as three cars with one person in charge of each.

## Before you go

- The Wildhorse Saloon, still in older bachelorette guides for line-dancing lessons, closed at the start of 2024 and the building is being redeveloped.
- Hours, prices and line-ups move, so confirm them the week before. Then get everyone on one call, lock the three bookings that sell out, and leave the rest loose enough to follow the music.
